This page shows work done using ISA2 Funds as part of its Sharing and Reuse Action (2016.31) which aimed to bring together European Public Services on the subject of open source. The joinup collection can be accessed via this link.
There action comprised four areas of focus.

Including the release of the updated 2021 version of the European Commission Inventory Methodology for open source software. Click here to download all project files, and here for the inventory only.
- Funding: Studying the need for a European Open Source Funding Mechanism, and then defining how it could work. Click here for the study report.
- Security: running bug bounties on Element, Moodle and Zimbra software selected after consulting multiple public administrations
- Hackathons: Holding events to tackle common issues in open source that the European Public Services face. The Jitsi Hackathon - Winning over the classroom The BIG Hackathon (Bridging Interoperability Gaps featuring X-Road)
