Registration for the Interoperable Europe Academy 2024, taking place at KU Leuven on 11-12 April, is now officially open!

This event, co-organised by the European Commission and the University of KU Leuven, is a unique opportunity for public servants, policymakers, and students to deepen their understanding of the Interoperable Europe Act and public sector interoperability in general.

Offering a mix of workshops, panel discussions, and opportunities for direct dialogue with experts from the European Commission, the Academy is designed to enhance skills in digital government and interoperability. Participants will have the chance to explore the latest developments in artificial intelligence (AI), data spaces, and other emerging technologies for the public sector.

Register now to secure your participation in this transformative educational experience. The event can be followed in person at the premises of KU Leuven, Belgium, or online from anywhere in the world.

  • On 11 April, the focus will be on the Interoperable Europe Act and the various practical aspects that relate to it. These fields include interoperability monitoring, interoperability assessments, the share and reuse of solutions, and digital ready policy making.
  • The second day (on 12 April) will focus on the practical aspects in interoperability and digital transformation, such as emerging technologies in public administrations, data spaces, OSS Catalogue, the Once-Only Technical System (OOTS), and AI4Interoperability.
