Building trust by transparency for intrusion detection

Malware detection, under EUPL

Published on: 24/04/2023 News

Developed by SitinCloud, a French company Located in Colombes, near Paris, and licensed under the EUPL, Owlyshield is a versatile and open-source EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response) solution, which specializes in detecting intrusions through vulnerability exploitation, with a primary focus on identifying Command and Control, exfiltration, and impact tactics. It achieves this by learning the normal behaviour of applications and employing novelty detection to identify weak signals indicative of an attack.

According to the provider, the software detects and stops threats in real-time without slowing down the system, making it convenient for organizations prioritizing performance and efficiency.

It offers tailored versions with pretrained models for Sage X3, SAP, and Odoo, quickly identifying potential security threats within these complex applications and providing comprehensive protection for critical business systems and data.

SitinCloud argues that trust must be build through transparency: we believe the best way to develop cybersecurity software is through open-source. We are all about transparency, trust and code quality. The Agent has always been and will always remain open source (EUPL license).
