On September 19, 2023, the European Commission launched a new online platform to help facilitate compliance of Member States with notification obligations. The goal of this new initiative is to reduce timely administrative procedures and move to a direction that assists Member States' compliance to the Commission under EU law.
The platform is called the “Single Notification Window” and offers a single-entry point to a broad range of notification obligations relevant to the Single Market. The notification procedures remain unaltered through the whole process and the substance of the notifications is not amended by using the platform.
